Filling System This is a touchdown filling pen. We've restored the filling system by replacing the O-ring and the ink sac, so it should work for years and years to come. We will enclose instructions on how it works.
Color Evergreen with gold plated trim
Nib MEDIUM FINE 2-tone 14k "Sheaffer's" open nib is rather firm.
Condition Very Nice condition. The cap bands on both pieces are engraved with the initials F G F. Pen: Microscratching on the bbarrel and cap, and a couple of more prominent individual scratches. Overall the look is fairly smooth and shiny. There some small indents on the blind cap and end of the barrel that are probably tooth marks . The trim is in quite good condition, just a tiny bit of brassing on the clip's opening. The cap band looks great, no brassing. Pencil: Fairly smooth and shiny with some slight scratches here and there. No bite marks. The opening of the nose cone is slightly dented, but it doesn't affect the lead moving in and out.
