Color Black body and cap. Gold plated trim. Wide cap band with simple border etched on the outer edges.
Nib MEDIUM palladium-silver conical Triumph nib with a slight upturn at the tip. Marked M4 on the back of the nib.
Condition Excellent condition. This is a velvety black, shiny pen in a classic design for snorkel filling fountain pens. The cap and barrel have moderate scratching. The lip between the barrel and section has some slight nicks and chipping. There's an "E" marked near this lip, as if someone carved it for personalization, though it could have been a mark made by Sheaffer. The barrel threads look clean, with no plating wear. The knurling on the blind cap looks good. The cap has a few noticeable scratches and scuffs near the top and around the clip. The wide cap band has moderate microscratching and blotches of plating wear along the bottom edge. The clip has moderate microscratching. The white dot is slightly yellowed. The imprints are clear.
