Filling System The pen works by pushing down on the button and then slightly turning it to lock the pen into extended mode. To retract the tip, push lightly then turn it back to its original position. This pen originally took the screw in Stratowriter refills which are no longer made. A widget has been installed which allows you to use modern Parker-style refills. In addition to the widget, there is a plastic ring placed at the top of the modern Sheaffer refill to hold it in the right place for the locking mechanism in the pen to work. Please remember to keep this attachment when changing refills. See the photo below. A working refill is installed
Color Gold filled pen from top to bottom.
Condition Excellent condition with some light handwear and microscratches. No dents or dings. There is some brassing towards the bottom of the pen in line with the clip.
