Product Description
Type Fountain pen.
Product Name Targa 1001, early version (a White Dot model).
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA - they made this model in brushed steel from 1980 to 1988 when they replaced it with the brushed chrome version. You can tell them apart by the top part of the cap .... the stainless steel version had that part also in brushed metal, while the second version featured a shiny smooth top piece.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System It takes Sheaffer cartridges, or you can use bottled ink via the included Sheaffer squeeze converter.
Color Brushed stainless steel body and cap with a shiny chrome plated clip and black end plugs.
Nib MEDIUM stainless steel nib is inlaid style and is in great condition, smooth with nice tipping material.
Condition Very nice condition. There are some scratches (see photo) on the barrel from posting and handwear on the cap and barrel. The pen was marked with the letter "S" and a white dot on the end of the cap, which we have seen before. It's some sort of Sheaffer customization. It's working very well.
