Filling System The pen has a Touchdown filling system which we have restored, it's working well. We will guarantee it for one year from the date of purchase. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads, which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism. We will include a packet of leads.
Color Black with gold trim. The bands are 3/8" wide and marked 14K. Both cap bands are personalized: "Merle L. Bosworth".

Condition Very nice condition for this dark black, slim and shiny vintage pen and pencil set. The fountain pen barrel has light to moderate scratching. The cap has moderate scratching and a large crack to the right of the end of the clip. The wide cap band has light microscratching. The clip has slight plating wear at the end and light microscratching. The white dot has yellowed and it is tinged with a small red mark. The mechanical pencil cap and barrel have moderate to heavy scratching. The cone has moderate microscratching. The cap band has moderate microscratching. The clip has light pitting and plating wear along the bottom edge. The white dot above the clip is sunken. Both pieces have personalizations on the cap bands, "Merle L. Bosworth." The imprints on the fountain pen are clear. There are no imprints on the mechanical pencil.
