Product Name Valiant ..... similar to the snorkel version, just a little shorter and 1mm fatter.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- early 1950s.

Filling System Touchdown filling system. We've restored it and it's working very well. We will send instructions on how to fill the pen.
Color Black with gold plated trim and a 3/8" cap band with an etched line border.
Nib Medium Triumph 14k nib is firm and smooth with nice tipping material. The Valiant would have originally been two-toned, but most of the masking has been polished away.
Condition Excellent condition. Light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. There is a a small 1/8" gouge or deep scratch on the cap, to the right of the clip. The cap has moderate long lengthwise scratches. The clip looks good, with just some light polishing marks. The cap band has light scratching, but no brassing or plating wear. The section looks good, all of the ridges are smooth. The barrel has light to moderate scratching. No cracks, chips, or personalization. The imprint is quite clear and readable, the pen is fully restored and working well.
