Color Garnet ("Grenat") red translucent lacquer over a lovely machined ("guilloche") pattern called "Guirlande", which we believe is a French word for garland. It's a relatively simple pattern, but the lacquer overlay along with the faceting in the lines gives it a really elevated, luxurious appearance. It has gold plated trim, and the section is decorated with the guilloche work without the lacquer.
Nib Two-tone stub 18k nib. This is a large nib with a unique shape.
Condition Near mint condition, used only lightly. The trim has polishing marks, but no brassing or plating wear. The lacquer is beautiful with no scratches or chips. No box or paperwork.
