Filling System This has what Stipula called a Convertible Piston Filler. The section unscrews and there is this very large odd looking converter (see photo below), which is said to hold way more than a standard converter does. With the Convertible Piston unit installed, you twist the blind cap to fill and expel ink. We tested the system and it's working well. You can also remove the Convertible Piston to install a standard international cartridge or converter. Color Cellulose acetate in a reddish brown marbled color. The cap band is sterling silver, with a vermeil (gold-plated) central part, decorated with carved leaves). The clip is also decorated with a leaf at the open end.
Nib 0.9mm STUB 18k Two-Tone nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny over-sized pen in a gorgeous color pattern with variations of gold and dark red. The cap and barrel have light scratching. The 5/16th inch decorated cap band with a deeply carved leaf pattern looks beautiful. The clip, with a leaf matching the ones in the cap band, has a few small scratches and some long thin polishing lines. The silver band at the end of the barrel has moderate microscratching. The imprints are clear. Ships in box with paperwork.
