Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Ventidue 22. The "22" refers to the titanium nib due to titanium having atomic number 22. The early model was known for having flow issues and this is indeed an early model, but we didn't notice any flow problems during our testing. We guarantee the pen.
Manufacturer and Year Stipula, Italy -- Early 2000s
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System It is a piston filler. It's been tested and it's working well. It even makes a gurgling sound from having such a tight seal.
Color It is a yellow pearlescent material labeled "Greggio Yellow" when used on the Ventidue and "Limoncello Yellow" when on a Duetto. It has a gray ink reservoir and a black blind cap. The trim is rhodium plated.
Nib MEDIUM Titanium two-tone nib. It is a small nib with obvious modern flex. While titanium tines spread easily, they also are easy to "spring" or get stuck too far apart. You cannot treat it like a steel nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with few signs of usage. There is what is probably an ink stain at the top of the ink reservoir and some handwear. No cracks, scratches or chips. There are a couple marks on the cap band but no plating wear. The imprint is clear.
