Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Taccia Imperial Portuguese
Manufacturer and Year Taccia - ca. 2000s. There's some lack of clarity as to where Taccia pens are actually made ... the company seems US based, the nibs are probably JoWo, and the pens are distributed by the Japanese brand Itoya. We suspect they are probably made in China or Taiwan.
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System Converter/cartridges. A converter is installed.
Color Cranberry cracked ice with chrome trim. The cranberry ice chips are red, rose, burgundy, black, and dark green. There is some pearlescence. There are black end pieces and chrome bands and a top chrome disc on the cap that has imprinted Taccia Portuguese. There is no cap band so that the cap and clip form a solid pattern of color.
Nib MEDIUM Iridium point steel nib. (There was some ink on the nib when we took the photos, but it cleaned off and now the nib looks good.)
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny, and large pen that is impressive. The cap and barrel have some light signs of usage. The clip looks great. The clip band has a bit of microscratching. The top disc imprints are clear.
