Product Description
Type Vintage eyedropper fountain pen with a flexible nib.
Product Name T1-100 is written on the barrel
Manufacturer and Year Todco (Tod co?) -- likely 1910s. We found nothing on this maker.
Length 5-3/8".
Filling System Eyedropper filler. We cleaned and tested it and it's working very well. We will send instructions and recommendations for usage as well as some silicone grease and an eyedropper.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR).
Nib MEDIUM FLEXIBLE 14k nib is smooth with nice tipping material remaining. It has good line variation. See writing sample below. Line variation from medium to double broad. The nib has some marks on its face but these are quite shallow. It has a slender underfeed similar to those seen on Swan pens.
Condition Excellent condition. Most of the black hard rubber is slightly faded to a deep olive brown; the original black is visible where the cap covers the section. The cap chasing looks fantastic and the barrel chasing is slightly worn but still easily visible. There are some rings of scratching about halfway down the cap, which are probably the result of an accomodation clip. No cracks or chips. The barrel imprint is clear.
