Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen with a flexible nib.
Product Name Unknown..... no imprints. The feed looks like that used by Conklin, but that's the closest we can come to an identification.
Manufacturer and Year Unknown, the pen is completely unmarked except for the Warranted #4 nib.
Length 5-5/16".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black hard rubber in a lined pattern with gold plated trim and cap band on each end of the cap.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE Warranted #4 14k nib is smooth with nice tipping material remaining. There's some very light scratching on the top of the nib which does not affect the way it writes in the slightest. It's what we would call full flex, with very easy variation from a larger fine line to a thick double broad under a light pressure. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. There's some slight discoloration on the top of the cap and the end of the barrel, as well as two small nicks in the hard rubber at the end of the barrel. There are some light scratches on the cap and barrel, and a little brassing on the lower edge of the cap band, the ball of the clip, and the very edges of the lever. No cracks, chips, or personalization.
