Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Unknown, #3 nib. It's unusual to see a ring top pen this long, so we might be looking at a combination of parts from different pens, though the lined pattern on cap and barrel does match.
Manufacturer and Year Unknown -- c. 1930s based off of the design.
Length 5-1/8" capped, not including the ring top hardware.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black hard rubber with a pattern of grouped lines alternating with smooth sections. The cap is topped off with a clear red disc, possibly bakelite, which the ringtop hardware attaches.
Nib FINE Flexible 14k nib is marked Warranted #3. It is springy and smooth writer. The tines spread very easily for strong line variation. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen has no cracks. The trim is in great condition with a little wear on the lever and ringtop. The pen is fully restored and working very well.
