Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year Unknown -- Around the 1930s based off of the design. The feed looks a little like the ones found on Conklins.
Length 4-1/8" capped, not including the ring top hardware.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Gold filled cap and barrel with black section. The gold filled parts have lined sections with smooth squares in them. We refer to this as a squares pattern.
Nib FINE Flexible 14k nib is marked warranted #3. It is springy and a smooth writer. With a little pressure you get excellent line variation, but because it isn't very soft and you do need to apply a small amount of pressure, we call it semi-flex in the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. We're not calling it personalization, but someone scratched their initials in the end of the pen, on the barrel beneath the section, and on the cap band. There are a few additional fine scratches on the cap and just general polishing marks on the smoother parts of the gold filling. The pattern is in great condition and there is very little plating wear. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or major scratches. The pen is fully restored and working very well.
