Filling System Pull & Turn Piston filling system. Pull the button on the end to extend the piston, turn counter clockwise to expel ink out, and turn the piston clockwise to draw up ink. Then, push the piston back into the pen, and it’s ready to write. We tested it and it works well.
Color Pearlescent green resin with rose-gold colored trim.
Nib BROAD 23k solid palladium nib. Palladium nibs are thought to be softer writers than gold, which is why Visconti refers to it as a "Dreamtouch" nib. This is a very soft nib and the tines do spread a bit. Please be careful before trying to flex the nib, as palladium nibs can be "sprung" easily.
Condition Near Mint condition. There are no indications that the pen was ever inked. We did flush it with water and check the nib but we feel confident calling it unused. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. There is slight patina on some of the gold trim, because it has never been used and we only gave it a light polish, but overall this pen is gorgeous! The dimensions of the pen are based on the Golden Ratio, considered to be the ideal aesthetic ratio in western art and science. No box or paperwork.
