Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen
Product Name Equi-poised Gold Seal .... this is not the later long slender version of the equi-poise, this is more stout with slightly domed ends. The first version of the Equi-poised pens had very pointy ends, and there's a big discussion on Fountain Pen Board as to whether the change was as the result of pressure from Sheaffer over the design similarities to Balance. In any case, these two early versions are very uncommon, and were replaced by the long slender design Equi-poised design.

The has marks caused by the cap lip as well as moderate scratching with a few small, deep scratches. The cap lip is fragile, with hairline and larger cracks. The lever has plating wear and a bit of pitting along the side edges. The double cap band and clip have light microscratching. The Wahl emblem above the clip looks great. The imprints are clear.
