Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name This was originally one of the Gregg pens, as indicated bt the emblem on the top of the cap, designed for stenographers using Gregg Shorthand. The original Gregg nib was missing when we got the pen, so we installed an Eversharp "Flexible" nib.
Manufacturer and Year Wahl Eversharp, made in USA -- 1920s.
Length 5-3/16 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've fully restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Red woodgrain colored hard rubber commonly called rosewood with gold plated trim, two thin cap bands near the lip, and one where the roller clip connects to the cap. The top of the cap is marked "Gregg" with their emblem.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Eversharp gold nib, smooth with lovely tipping material. This nib is actually marked "Flexible," and It's close to what we would call fully flexible with easy line variation from a medium to nice large broad line under just light pressure, and the possibility for a little more variation as well. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating wear. There are some small scratches and light marks of wear on the cap and barrel, as well as some slight damage on the section. The Gregg emblem on the cap is lovely (see photos). The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
