Length 4-1/8" long pen, with a chain that's about 28" long. The clutch is about 2" tall and 5" wide.
Filling System Takes a D1 type ballpoint refill.
Color Black lacquered barrel with a shiny silver cap, which is marked 925 on the cap band, though we are skeptical about it being sterling silver (the cap lip is kind of flaking, which is indicative of some sort of plating). The cap has a pattern of lengthwise broken lines, giving a very glittery effect as it moves. Waldmann is known for its jewelry-inspired detailing.
Condition Excellent condition. The pattern in the cap is well maintained. The cap lip has some flaking, making us think that it's plated; the plating seems to be in good shape on most of the cap, it's just the lip and inside the cap that's flaking. The barrel looks great, with just light handling wear. The clutch is in good shape, with no tears or cracking on the leather. some of the metal frame has tarnished, but the clasp does its job very well. The chain doesn't have the metal content marked, but it is in good condition, with no broken or bent links. The imprints are clear.
