Product Description

Product Name Model 12 SF ("Sleeve Filler") (Marked on bottom of barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman USA -- Early 1900s

Filling System Sleeve filler. You slide the protruding portion of the barrel and expose a bar. The bar is pushed in a method not dissimilar to an aerometric bar over a sac. We have replaced the sac and it is working very well.
Color Black hard rubber that is smooth. The cap has just a small amount of fading. Silver clip. The red 12-1/2 mark is clear at the flat end of the barrel.
Nib FLEXIBLE EXTRA FINE 14k nib. Almost full flex. It is marked Waterman's Ideal New York. Line variation from extra fine to broad. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a slim pen in a unique design with good color and just a little fading on the cap. The barrel has very light scratching. The end of the barrel where the filling area slides down has scratches caused by the slide. The cap has light "crackling", moderate scratching, and some little dot scratches. The clip looks nice though it is a tad crooked. The imprints are clear.
