Filling System Eyedropper filling system. We've cleaned and tested it, it's working very well. We'll include an eyedropper kit and instructions on filling this pen.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) with two 1/4" 18k gold filled ornamental bands on the barrel.
Nib FULLY FLEXIBLE FINE gold nib is marked "Waterman's Ideal New York 3." Please see the writing sample below. The point looks like a fine but the writing sample shows that extra fine hairlines are possible when using the pen. Very responsive with excellent springback. Line variation extra fine to broad.
Condition Superior condition for this very beautiful pen. The chasing on the cap and barrel are crisp and perfect. The color is shiny without a spot of discoloration. The section has scratching including some long thin lines, but no deep scratches. The trim bands look beautiful even with a bit of plating wear along the top and bottom edges. The imprints are crystal clear. There are no cracks, dings, serious scratches, or personalization.
