Color Burgundy marble (called claret). The trim is chrome or nickel plated.
Nib EXTRA FINE 14K gold nib is marked ACCOUNT Waterman's Ideal with a heart shaped cutout. The account nibs are firm and very fine, for writing in ledger books.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The main flaw is the worn condition of the trim. This is a small, shiny, beautifully colored pen. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and moderate scratching. The cap also has moderate scratching. The lever has plating wear and some pitting. The single thin cap band has plating wear. The short clip with a cut-out pattern at the top and its mount have plating wear and some dots of pitting all over. The clip is a tad off-center. The imprints are clear.
