Color Marbled gray material with brown veins and nickel plated trim. It has an interesting clip that goes over the top of the cap that forms a little pentagon.
Nib FINE/MEDIUM FLEXIBLE 14k nib marked Waterman's Ideal Canada #2 with a heart shaped breather hole. The tines spread very easily for very good line variation, from fine to broad. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The main flaw is the wear and pitting on the trim. This is a small, thin pen with lovely and intricate marbling, including pearlescence. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip as well as by posting. It has moderate scratching, most of it near the end of the barrel. The lever has quite a lot of plating wear and small, deep scratches. The cap has many tiny dot scratches near the top as well as moderate scratching. The imprints are clear.
