Color Green marble with flecks of red. The trim is chrome or nickel plated.
Nib MEDIUM-FINE 14K gold nib is marked Waterman's Ideal with a heart shaped cutout. It is very flexible with a good ink flow, and has a good amount of tipping material. See writing sample below.
Condition Very nice condition. There is cracking around the cap, about 3/8" down from the top; these cracks are stable. There is light scratching and handwear on both the cap and barrel. The clip has scratching, plating wear, and some corrosion along the sides. The cap band has brassing. The lever and housing have scratching and some touches of brassing. The imprints are excellent.
