The classic sterling Waterman overlay fountain pen in the trefoil vine design, over hard rubber. This one is marked 412 1/2 PSF and has an Ideal fine flexible nib. Excellent condition, tested and working well.

Type  Early lever filling fountain pen from the Waterman 2 series. Screw cap, no clip by design.

Product Name  Model 412 1/2 PSF (the imprint on the end of the barrel is faint but readable)

Manufacturer and Year  Waterman USA - circa 1920s

Length  5-1/4" and slender (as indicated by the 1/2 in the model number)

Filling System  Lever-filler. We have replaced the sac and it's working well.

Color  Black hard rubber with sterling overlay in the "trefoil vine" design. The barrel and cap are covered with a cut out sterling filigree design which has been etched.

Nib  The nib is fine and flexible, marked Waterman Ideal New York. It gives nice lne variation from fine to broad easily. See writing sample below.

Condition  Excellent condition, quite beautiful. No significant scratches or dents. The cap screws on securely. The imprint on the end of the barrel is somewhat worn, but still readable. 

 The barrel is engraved with the initials "H.A.N."

Domestic US Shipping Policy: For the most part, shipping to US addresses is free and is made via first class mail.

International Shipping PolicyInternational shipping is based on weight, and we give you a choice (depending on country) of first class, first class registered, priority mail or express delivery (only Express Mail provides true tracking). Internatonal shipments valued at over $40 come with free insurance, unless that service is not available for your specific country. Most of our customers opt for the very reasonably priced first class mail method, which can take anywhere from one to four weeks. We are happy to discuss alternatives to the options currently offered during the checkout process, so please contact us if you'd like a quote.

Most countries charge customs fees on shipments from the United States, but this is not something we can estimate and there is no way to pay these fees in advance. It is the responsibility of the customer to anticipate these costs and pay them when they are assessed by your country or postal system. We have heard that shipments valued at 50 EU or more get assessed fees in EU countries, for example.
