Product Description
Type Safety pen in excellent working condition
Product Name 42, marked on the end of the barrel (2 = nib size, and 4 = safety filling system).
Length 5" capped counting ring hardware, 4-7/8" with nib extended.
Filling System Safety filler (we replaced the seals and thoroughly tested the pen, and we will guarantee it to be free from leaks for a year from the date of purchase.)
Color 18k rolled gold over black hard rubber. Lovely ivy design.
Nib FLEXIBLE fine Waterman's #2 gold nib is very smooth. It has lots of tipping material and writes with good line variation. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The engraving is great. There are no cracks or chips. The end of barrel imprint and barrel imprint are crisp and easy to read. There are capping and posting marks but no scratches. No personalization. The nib extends and retracts as it should. There's a short bit of brassing on the cap lip, perhaps that area was scraped for gold testing.
