Condition Excellent condition with some light wear. Fountain pen: the pen has light surface wear and scratching, very common for sterling silver. The end of the barrel does have some dents and dings. The filigree pattern is very clear, with no nicks or cracks in the overlay. The section looks great, with no tool marks. The hard rubber that peeks through the openings in the metalwork looks nice and dark, with only very light fading. The lever bar looks perfect. Mechanical pencil: also has light surface wear and scratching. The nose cone has some surface marks, but no dents or dings, and the opening and pencil mechanism operate smoothly. All of the imprints on both pieces appear to be quite strong and clear. Both pieces are working very well.
