Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler pen. A new sac has been installed and tested.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) cap and barrel. It is a clipless version with a 1/2" ornate barrel band.
Nib Medium-Fine Flexible Waterman's Ideal New York #2 nib. Very strong line variation. Please see the writing sample below. The nib looks a bit worn in the photographs but we polished it and it cleaned up nicely. There is a small nick in the breather hole, a dent on the underside of the left tine, and a dent on the surface of the right tine but none of these blemishes will affect writing.
Condition Excellent condition. The color is a nice even dark black. The cap chasing has held up very well and is texturally intact, however there are lots of bite marks at the top of it. The barrel chasing is mostly worn. It is present enough to know that it was originally chased. The barrel band has no dents or plating wear. There are a few marks but they don't stand out next to the ornamentation. The main barrel imprint is legible though a bit faded. The near the end of the barrel imprint is not present and the imprint at the very end of the barrel is clear. The pen has been personalized, "R.H.B."
