Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil, working well
Product Name It isn't marked, but it is full length but slender like the Waterman 52 1/2 fountain pen.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- Patent mark is "Pat. May 12, 1925"
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Takes 1.1mm (aka "thick") leads which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism (you twist the cone). The mechanism is only for extending leads, so to retract them you have to retract the pusher by twisting and then push the leads back in with your finger. We will include a small container extra leads.
Color Black chased hard rubber with a nickel plated clip. There is a personalization on the barrel: "R.P. Emilien, O.C.R."
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. This is a slim, shiny, classically designed pencil that works well. The cone has a short, deep scratch on the nickel part and two of the same sort of scratches on the black part. The barrel looks really nice and shiny with intact chasing. The clip has plating wear and roughness along the edges. The barrel has a personalization: "R.P. Emilien, O.C.R." The Waterman imprint is clear.
