Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil, working well
Product Name It isn't marked, but it is full length but slender like the Waterman 52 1/2 fountain pen.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- 1910s or early '20s.
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System Takes 1.1mm (aka "thick") leads which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism (you twist the cone). The mechanism is only for extending leads, so to retract them you have to retract the pusher by twisting and then push the leads back in with your finger. We will include a small container extra leads.
Color Black chased hard rubber with a nickel plated clip.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The black chasing is visible but smoothed out in places. Still, this pencil is shiny and lovely. There is a bit of plating wear on the ball of the clip and some light marks on the clip. The imprint is somewhat faded but partially readable.
