Filling System It is a lever filler. A new sac has been installed. It's fully restored and working well.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) with a nickel plated ring top mechanism and lever box.
Nib Left Oblique Stub Waterman's Ideal nib. The tines have been heavily cut down for line variation, we're not sure if it was done by Waterman or after it left the factory. They still spread for springy/soft writing and it winds up writing like a semi-flexible stub. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. The patterning and color are near perfect. The lever box has a bit of a curvature to it. There's a dot of pitting on one of the nib tines, which you can see in the photos. The two barrel imprints are clear and the end of barrel imprint is legible. There is one scratch on the end of the barrel. No cracks or chips.
