Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a flexible nib.
Product Name Model 52 1/2 V (marked on the end of the pen barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- 1920s
Length 4-5/16" without the ring top mechanism. This is a short and slim pen.
Filling System It is a lever filler. A new sac has been installed. It's fully restored and working well.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) with silver colored lever. We're guessing it's nickel but it's in really good condition for nickel. The ring top mechanism looks like it had a gold wash on it.
Nib The nib reads "Waterman Ideal New York" and has almost full flex. Line variation from fine to double broad. See the writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. The chasing is very even and intact. The barrel imprint is very clear and there is not too much plating wear on the lever and lever box. The ring in the ring top moves easily and looks good. No cracks or chips.
