Color Smooth Cardinal red hard rubber with gold plated trim.
Nib Medium gold Waterman Ideal nib is flexible, not quite full flex. Good line variation from medium to double broad, with fine cross-strokes. See writing sample below. Red ebonite feed.
Condition Excellent + condition. The clip has plating wear along the sides and edges, and brassing around the ball end and near the rivets. The cap band has brassing and plating wear along both edges. The top of the cap and some shallow bite marks. There is some staining on the section and in the barrel threads. There's a very slight color difference where the cap covers the barrel and section. The lever and housing have microscratching, and some touches of plating wear. The barrel imprint is quite worn, and only partially readable. The pen is fully restored and working very well.
