Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a flexible nib.
Product Name Model 52 (marked on the end of the pen barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman - circa 1920s
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler (We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.)
Color Red ripple hard rubber with gold plated trim. The rippling on the barrel is especially neat!
Nib 14K. The nib is marked Waterman Ideal. It is nicely flexible with a good ink flow. We consider it great for every day writing, but it's not a wet noodle or super-flex. The line varies from medium to broad. Please see writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition, the hard rubber is incredibly smooth to the touch and the color is awesome. There is hardly any brassing, maybe a little along the edge of the clip. The barrel imprint is very good. This pen writes smoothly with a good amount of flex. The filling system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year.
