Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large, dark, shiny pen. The coloration is inconsistent with areas of marbled or mottled lighter and darker brown. The original black can be seen on the section. The chasing is visible but the pen is smooth to the touch. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and light scratching. The cap has polishing marks and some light crackling on the surface. The lever has plating wear along the edges. The clip has a little plating wear and the tiny brads (probably replacements) are filed smooth. The barrel imprints are faded but readable. The 55 mark on the end of the barrel is barely visible. The clip imprint is clear.
