Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a flexible nib
Product Name Model 56 (marked on the end of the pen barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- circa 1920s. (Both barrel and nib are marked US)
Length 5-1/2" long
Filling System Lever-filler. The pen is a lever filler. The sac has been replaced and it's working well.
Color Red ripple hard rubber with gold plated trim. The feed is also red ripple hard rubber so it could be original.
Nib Extra-fine 14K. The nib is marked "Waterman's Reg. US Pat. Off. 6". The tines are flexible and you should get line variation between extra-fine and broad without too much pressure. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, personalization or serious scratches. There is brassing and plating wear on the trim, especially on the clip and also on the lever box. The imprint is slightly worn, but still quite legible.
