Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny set in a classic design. Fountain pen: The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip, and most of the moderate scratching is near the end of the barrel. The lever and housing have brassing and plating wear. The cap band has moderate microscratching and some touches of brassing. The clip has plating wear around the edges and brassing on the sides, with microscratching elsewhere. The imprints are deep and clear. Mechanical pencil: The pencil is in excellent condition. The clip has brassing and plating wear around the sides and on the edges. There is light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. The central band has microscratching, and a few tiny dots of pitting. The black section just above the cone is slightly faded. The cone has scratching and some brassing, with heavier scratches near the tip. The imprints (up near the top of the pencil) are somewhat faded, but easily readable.
