Product Description
Type Vintage lever filing fountain pen
Product Name Model 94 (it's marked on the end of the pen's barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, Made in Canada - circa 1930s.
Length Pen is 5"
Filling System The pen is a lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Mahogany - a beautiful reddish brown marbled finish with white veins and gold plated trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE LEFT OBLIQUE Waterman's gold Ideal nib is smooth with nice tipping material. It has modest flexibility, a bit better than semi-flex, with easy line variation from medium-fine to broad. Please see our writing sample below.
Condition Very nice condition, excellent except for a crack in the cap lip. There is brassing on the trim (cap band, clip, and lever), as well as a couple of dents on the cap band. The cap lip has a small crack that does not extend past the cap band (detail shot of this in pictures below). Handwear consistent with age, as well as some scratches on the end of the barrel, but overall, the pen is quite shiny. Imprint is clear. Other than previously mentioned, no cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization.
