Length Both pieces are 4-1/4" long.
Filling System Lever filler. We've put a new ink sac in the pen, and the filling system works well. The pencil takes 1.1mm leads, which extend and retract by twisting the cone.
Color Sunset Red, a deep red marbled and slightly stripy material. Chrome or shiny nickel plated trim.
Nib Flexible fine Waterman Ideal Canada No. 2 nib. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The fountain pen has light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. There are marks at both ends of the barrel from the cap lip. The lever bar has some pitting at the tab end, and scratching all over. The cap has light scratching. The cap band and clip have brassing and plating wear. The cap finial has some tiny dots of corrosion. The pencil has light scratching and handwear. This trim all has scratching and plating wear. The imprints are clear.
The cap finials on both pieces are personalized with initials in a script. They are either MS or MF, or possibly LW?
