Type Lever filling fountain pen with a lovely flexible nib, restored and working well.
Product Name Model 52 (marked on the barrel). This is a later style version.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in Canada -- these plastic 52s started in 1934.
Length A little over 5 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Smooth black celluloid with gold plated trim and a very thin cap band.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Waterman's Ideal Canada 2 nib marked B 14 - 585 with a hallmark on one edge, and F.D.W on the other edge It's smooth with lovely tipping material, and fully flexible with easy line variation from medium to double broad with hardly any pressure at all, and even more with a little weight. Condition Excellent condition except for some lesser scratching and handwear on the cap and body, and a little plating wear ont he edges and corners of the trim. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. The imprints are very crisp and readable on the barrel and cap. The pen has been fully restored and it's working well.
