Product Description
Type Cartridge fill fountain pen
Product Name CF 875. CF for "cartridge filler," and 875 due to its original sale price of $8.75.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, 1950s
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System The pen will come with a cartridge that can be refilled via syringe. Here's the challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and are close to impossible to find. To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe.
Color Teal blue barrel and section, with a shiny steel cap and gold plated trim.
Nib 14k nib is unmarked as to size, but we think it is fine.
Condition Excellent condition with just light handwear. No major scratches, dents, dings, or personalization. The open edge of the section, where it meets the feed, has some unevenness. This does not affect the performance of the pen. Imprints are clear. These pens are often seen with corrosion on the section overlay, but this one is clean and smooth. There is a spot of pitting and plating wear on the inside edge of the clip. The rest of the trim looks great, wtih no plating wear or brassing. Imprints are crisp and clear.
