Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Exclusive. This model is often confused with the Executive and sometimes the Gentleman.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in France -- late 1980s to mid-1990s.
Length 5-5/8" long, and slender.
Filling System The fountain pen takes international style refills, but most of them are too fat to fit in the barrel. Waterman branded refills are thinner and do fit including the long cartridges. A Waterman modern piston converter is installed in this pen.
Color Rhodium plated overlay with a "barleycorn" pattern. The cap has paired black bands on the top and bottom of the cap. Gold plated trim. Black section with raised squares.
Nib Oblique (left-foot) BROAD 18k nib. The feed is marked OG-L: O for Oblique, G for Gauche or left, and L for Large (but with a French accent!) which means broad, or wide.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an elegant, shiny pen in a beautiful design. The biggest flaw is the plating loss and corrosion on the trim ring just behind the nib, which is easily visible in the closeup nib photos. The section has some light scratching. The trim bands on either end of the cap show some plating wear and dullness on the black portions. The clip has light scratching. The gold pieces at the cap top and end of barrel have light scratching. The main portions of the cap and barrel look great. The imprints are clear.
