Product Description
Type Vintage pen that works beautifully.
Product Name Model unknown .... the cap is like the ones found on the English NW5 pens as well as the plain Hundred Year Pens. The barrel end is stepped like the ink-vue and blue streak pens. A lot of the Canadian models appear to be interesting hybrids of English-American pens.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, Canada -- circa 1940s.
Length 5-1/8 inches.
Filling System Lever filler (we've replaced the ink sac and the system works very well).
Color Black celluloid cap and barrel, gold-plated trim.
Nib The nib is marked "Waterman's 14KT. IDEAL Canada". It is flexible and fine with good ink flow and excellent tipping. See writing sample below. Not full flex, but great for every day.
Condition Superior condition, near mint. Very shiny with no cracks or chips, and very light plating wear. The filling system is restored and working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year. The box is in great condition, and the user instruction sheet is also nice but with a few tears.
