Filling System Glass Waterman cartridge. This is one of the uncommon glass cartridge filled models. With a new sealed cartridge, you would unscrew the blind cap at the end of the barrel, insert the sealed cartridge, and screw down the blind cap to puncture the cartridge. In this case, we are giving you an empty glass cartridge which you can fill with a syringe, (included)then follow the same process only with the nib pointed skyward while you screw on the blind cap.
We did open the pen up and confirm there is a good rubber seal where the cartridge connects. We tested the pen with water for a few days and did not get any leaks.
Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. However, we cannot replace the glass cartridge if it breaks, so execise care when filling.
Color Burgundy marble. The trim is chrome or stainless steel plated. There is a single thin cap band.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Waterman's Ideal #2 Nib. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful little pen with a unique glass cartridge filling system. The top of the cap has some small bite marks and nicks. The clip, clip mount, and thin cap band have moderate plating wear. The imprints are clear.
