Product Description
| Type | Vintage fountain pen in very good working condition, lever filler. Screw-on style cap. |
| Product Name | Waterman - 100 Year Pen (it's marked Hundred Year Pen on the cap). This is the oversize version, very fat. The nib is marked Emblem, which was the later name for the Hundred Year Pen. |
| Manufacturer and Year | Waterman, USA, 1940s |
| Length | Oversize 5-9/16" |
| Filling System | Lever filler. We've replaced the bladder in the pen and the filling system works well. |
| Color | Maroon (very dark, looks black) with a replacement red endpiece. Gold plated trim. |
| Nib | Huge gold Waterman Emblem nib. Fine with a nice amount of flex. Excellent tipping material. |
| Condition | Very nice condition with only light signs of use. No brassing except for the sides of the tip of the clip. The end pieces of these pens were originally transparent, and crumbled very easily. This one has a replacement red colored end piece. The correct end of the barrel would be more blunt and less rounded than this replacement, and would have been clear/amber colored to match the top of the cap and not red. Excellent imprint. It is ready to write. |
