Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil working well
Product Name This is the 100 Year Pen's matching pencil, the version with the riveted clip and barrel bands. This is the full size model.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, 1940s
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Takes 0.9mm (or "thin") leads. Extends lead via the traditional twist mechanism. We will enclose a small container of leads.
Color Transparent red with gold plated trim. One large band with thin bands on either side.
Condition Excellent condition for this little mechanical pencil. There is microscratching all over. Under a strong light, you can see some crazing inside the pen, mostly at the very top. It does not extend to the outer surface. There is a rough area in one of the grooves, just above the triple bands - we've included a closeup of this area in the photos. The clip is in great condition, only a little bit of brassing and plating wear near the edges. The rings around the barrel have light scratching, but look quite nice. The cone has slight brassing at the tip end and on the edge where it joins the pencil body. No dents, chips, or dings. The imprint is clear.
