Product Name Lady Patricia, the smaller size of the Patrician. The two models used nearly identical materials but had different design elements.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- Early 1930s.
Length Small size -- 4-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored the filling system, and it's working well.
Color "Onyx" color. This is a cream or light caramel color with red veins. (The design doesn't match its name at all.) 1/8" cap band with a simple etched design. The trim is gold filled. The cap lip, section, and feed are a dark red hard rubber.
Nib Fine flexible Waterman Ideal nib. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or dents. The main flaw is discoloration to the celluloid, extremely common with this color. Still, this is a small, shiny, prettily colored pen. The cap has a stained/discolored area starting from the clip to the top of the cap. The color on the remainder of the cap and on the barrel is excellent, though more amber than it was originally. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and the cap and barrel have moderate scratching. The lever has plating wear along the lower edge and some light pitting along the top and sides. The cap band has some light plating wear along some of the design borders and there are a few little dings. The clip and clip mount have microscratching. The barrel imprints are clear.
