Color "Black Lace" -- Black with chrome or shiny nickel plated trim. The barrel is clear and amber colored and has a diamond lace pattern on it; ability to see through the barrel is what gave this pen the Ink-Vue name. The lever, cap band, and clip all have a diamond pattern.
Nib MEDIUM Waterman's Ideal Nib with some flexibility. Hairline crack at the base which reaches the "G" in "REG." This is a very stable crack and will not worsen if you don't over flex the nib. Line variation from medium to broad. Please see our writing sample.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a small, shiny pen with a 1-1/2" viewing window with a pattern of crosses and diamonds. The viewing window has good visibility. The barrel has moderate scratching. the barrel was previously personalized, and there is a lot of fine scratching where this was mostly sanded and polished away (you can still make out an "N" at the end of the line). The lever has moderate microscratching. The cap has light to moderate scratching. The cap band has light plating wear along the top of the diamonds and microscratching elsewhere. The clip and top flat chrome piece have light to moderate microscratching, and there is brassing around the edge of the end piece. The imprint is clear.
