Color The "Onyx" color is a marbled light caramel with red veins, though this one has the typical darkening and discoloration. This celluloid was also notorious for not retaining its color over time, and this one is no exception. The section and cap lip are brick red. Gold-plated trim. The feed of the pen is red hard rubber.
Nib FINE nib is a 14k gold Waterman IDEAL nib. The nib flexes with light pressure. Take a look at our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. There is a fair bit of discoloration, as mentioned above. The cap and barrel have moderate handwear and scratching. There is scratching and some brassing on the lever. The clip and cap band also have scratching, brassing, and some small touches of plating wear. There is light scratching and marks on the gold-plated end piece of the cap. The imprints are clear.
