Product Description
Type Vintage pencil.
Product Name Unknown which excat model this is, we recommend pairing it with a Model 52 V fountain pen, as we have not seen a 52 1/2 V pen with a clip or gold filled crown.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- 1920s.
Length 4-7/16"
Filling System The pencil takes 1.1mm refills and works via the twist mechanism. It doesn't retract the leads (the leads twist out and must be pushed back in, very common in pencils from this era).
Color Red ripple hard rubber with gold filled trim. The cap band is about 1/8" wide. It has a clip and a crown that doubles as the removable piece to access the lead reservoir.
Condition Excellent condition. The crown has small dents in it and the crown and the area directly beneath it are peppered with bite marks. There is some plating wear on the cone, the crown, and the clip. The imprints on the crown and the hard rubber are completely legible.
