Color Blue marble is what Waterman called this (there wasn't a purple), but we see a lot of this model where the color has morphed into a very blue-purple color as this one has. There are some swirls in it that are kind of reddish gold. Gold colored trim. Black derby, cap band, and barrel end piece.
Nib FINE two tone steel nib. Firm and smooth.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, deep purple with reddish veined pen that has a regal appearance. The cap and barrel both have light to moderate scratching. The black end piece has some scratches from posting the cap. The top black derby looks good with just a few small microscratches. The cap band and clip ring have light plating wear and microscratching. The clip has light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
